The rear suspension, fitted with a six piston Wilwood caliper, Air ride Technologies strut, and Optima battery. All a snug fit, but fitted well... having a battery as close to the starter as possible makes a big difference in a cars reliability. We find that running a battery at the opposite end of the car from the starter, can lead to electrical disappointments. The Optima is a great, non-spillable battery, and offers the performance a reliabilty we can count on. We run a 1 gauge cable from the battery to the front firewall, as a seconday post for front driven equipment, such as fans, compressors, etc. Doing so, means less wire to run to the rear, which causes less resistance, and better running components.
