installing the frame on the engine

in most cases, the engine would be installed in the frame, In this case it was easier to actually drop the frame, over the engine. Four bolts, and the entire Cadillac cradle is attached the the frame. if ever the engine needed to be removed, it is easy to drop the enire cradle out from the bottom.
